Norfolk County Council were the first authority to install zebrite belisha beacons back in 2005. Since then they have installed seventy units at a mixture of new and existing zebra crossings. Norfolk's cabinet has taken the policy decision that all new zebra crossings will have zebrite belisha beacons.
In the last three years more than thirty other authorities have followed suit, installing a variety of post-top
and mid-post products to new and existing crossings. |
